Stop the Torture

Welcome to the Stop the Torture Coalition movement. We are dedicated to bringing national attention to 

inhumane conditions within the Green Bay and Waupun Correctional Institutions, two of the top ten  oldest prisons in the nation. Recent incidents, including the deaths of four men in Waupun and subsequent arrests of the Warden and 8 staff members, highlight the urgency of our cause.

Comprised of myself and four other Racine community leaders - Pastor Darren Utley, Joanna Koblanska,

Bobby Ayala and Fabi Maldonado - we have organized several protests and are committed to organizing many more outside these prisons and others statewide. Our goal is to hold those responsible for negligence and misconduct accountable, raise awareness about the harsh conditions in those prison and statewide, and pressure authorities to Close Green Bay and Waupun!
